NearWay Driver Training

NearWay Driver Training provides driving lessons in Banbury, and across North Oxfordshire in a modern, easy to drive, air conditioned car. Our driving school vehicle is fitted with dual controls (an additional brake and clutch pedal for the instructors use) to guarantee your safety.

We believe that learning to drive should be fun, we have a strict no shouting policy and only use friendly and patient driving instructors. Our instructors have undergone an Enhanced Criminal Records Background check and are checked by The Driving Standards Agency to ensure they are a fit and proper person to give driving instruction.

Our driving schools reputation is very important to us, we won't give you short lessons or arrive late. Of course, there may be unavoidable circumstances when your instructor is held up, if this happens we'll let you know as soon as possible and make sure we make up the time, plus a bit more, at the end of the lesson or next time.

The DSA quote an average of 45 hours of professional driving lessons, and around half that again of private practise before passing your test. We believe that private practice is an essential aid to preparing for your test, and will, with your permission, liase with your accompanying driver as and when required.

Don't wait until your next lessson and then forget to ask, we're here to help you all the time, not just when sitting next to you in the car! Out for a drive with Mum or Dad and arguing over the correct routine? Just pull over, send a quick text to your instructor and you'll get a definitive answer!
