Cheap driving lessons do not always mean it will cost you less to learn to drive!

If you get cheap driving lessons from a poor quality driving instructor, it could take you longer to learn and pass your test. If you have driving lessons at £20 per hour, but takes you 60 hours (or more) to pass your practical driving test, you will have spent £1200 on lessons. You're also more likely to fail your test if you haven't been prepared for it properly, at £62 a time, this is an added expense!

If you have good quality driving lessons at £25 per hour, but it only take 40 hours to get to test standard, you could save £200, not including test fees! Not to mention you will be driving sooner, 10 hours at 1 hour a week is 2 and a half months!!!

Of course, there are bad driving schools who charge high prices, and good driving schools who are cheap. Just remember, cheap lessons don't always mean you're getting the best value. And don't be afraid to try another instructor if you feel you're not progressing enough.
