A big congratulations to Eve Beharrell from Oxford who passed her ambulance driving test at the first attempt on 22nd April 2020.
South Central Ambulance Service organised Eve’s training and the DVSA laid on special ambulance driving tests so Eve can now drive front line ambulances to help with the coronavirus pandemic.
Congratulations to Dylan Evans who passed his C1 ambulance driving test at the first attempt on 22nd April 2020.
After doing an emergency critical worker test for SCAS Dylan can now start his career with the ambulance service.
Well done Dylan, from your driving instructor Neil and the team at NearWay Driver Training.
A huge congratulations to Craig Booth who passed his C1 ambulance driving test at the first attempt on 17th April 2020. Craig needed his licence for his new job at South Central Ambulance Service. He was the 4th person we put through their C1 test for SCAS this week and we’re pleased to say that all 4 passed first time, meaning they will be out on the road driving front line ambulances in a matter of weeks.
A huge congratulations to Oliver Glover who passed his C1 driving test at the first attempt on 17th April 2020. Oliver travelled from Wales to do his training course, staying at a local hotel and surviving on Domino’s pizza!
Oliver can now start his new job working for South Central Ambulance Service. The race is on to find somewhere to live as no one is allowing viewings on property at the moment. Hopefully he won’t have to commute from Wales for too long!
Well done Oliver, and good luck in your new career, from your instructor Neil and the team at NearWay Driver Training
A huge congratulations to Lauren Andrews who was one of the first people we put through their C1 ambulance driving test for South Central Ambulance Service as part of their response to the coronavirus pandemic. Lauren drove superbly and passed her C1 test at the Northampton test centre easily at the first attempt.
Now she has her licence Lauren will be on the road driving a front line ambulance within just a few weeks, and she can’t wait! Lauren was previously working in a bar and is super keen to start her ambulance training after a period off work.
Well done Lauren, from your instructor Neil and the team at NearWay Driver Training.
Critical worker driving tests
A big congratulations to Ella Shurrock who passed her C1 ambulance driving test on 14th April 2020 at the first attempt. The DVSA laid on an emergency critical worker test for Ella as she needs the licence for her new career in the ambulance service.
