C1 Driving Test

Nearway Drive Training were extremely accommodating when I contacted them, very professional and they got me booked in as quickly as possible. the training I received was above and beyond, everything was well explained and the instructors very observant. Ian was my instructor and was very friendly, professional and sent me in for my test feeling confident. if you're looking towards doing any driver training then look no further!

Where can I start... the welcome and kindness of all the Nearway staff are out of this world. It's such a relaxed and friendly environment. Every instructor has displayed professionalism at all times, whilst maintaining a light hearted and approachable persona. Neil has provided help and support throughout my training and instruction. Special mention to Ian, John, Paul and Steve for their expert tuition and knowledge during my lessons and pre-driving tests. I can't recommend Nearway Driver Training enough. Just completed my C1 training and passed with 0 faults! Can’t quite believe it but I truly think it’s down to the team and their teaching/coaching. Throughout my 2 days I was instructed by Ian and then John who were both thorough and supportive throughout my time with them. I was made to feel relaxed and at ease the whole time and any mistakes made weren’t a big deal and rectified during training. Also to top it off, Neil the owner kindly offered me a lift to the nearest train station after having an absolute mare with travel. All in all 5 star service and overall a very comfortable experience with the team! Thanks again guys!

I just wanted to say a huge thanks to Paul & Michelle for your great instruction, enabling me to pass my test and secure my Class 2 licence last week. The whole process from start to finish has been simple, effective with everyone always so friendly and encouraging. Passed my class 1 hgv test last week with them, recommend highly absolutely brilliant company with some lovely people who work there! After enquiring with alot of company's initially, decided to book with nearway even though they are a 2 hour drive away as they were very helpful and polite and stood out from the other hgv training company's I had spoken to over the phone. Thankyou to everyone there it was a pleasure taking my course with you, all the instructors were very knowledgeable and friendly I felt they all gave 110% and had a genuine care for me whilst under there tuition! Even the trainers that I wasn't 'allocated' just while passing on the premises giving you advice, confidence and being friendly wishing you luck for your test etc. Keep up the brilliant work and Thanks again!

Brilliant service and great training from Neil, Ian and Michelle. Got me through my test first time.Everybody was really friendly and made it easy to spend a day driving with them.

Passed my C1 test today through NearWay - great package at a reasonable cost to have all included is a bonus. All staff friendly and highly knowledgeable in training and requirements of the tests etc, Steve, Vinnie and Jonny all excellent. Online training suite for theory / hazard perception / show me, tell me questions was useful and just as good as the official packages you can purchase. Will use again in the future if needed.

I recently undertook my C1 training with Nearway and was so happy I passed. I had the first part of my training in April with Steve and decided to come back to Nearway to complete my test in July and requested Steve again as he was absolutely brilliant. So professional and experienced yet brilliant sense of humour and very friendly which made the whole experience so enjoyable. The team are so welcoming at the centre and I would not recommend them enough. Can’t wait to now use my C1 license to be a Paramedic in a few months. Thank you so much 🚑❤️

I recently completed a c1 with nearway and passed everything first time they made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. The instructors were patient, supportive, and created a relaxed learning environment. (THANKS STEVE AND JOHN 🙌🏻) Communication was fantastic from start to finish made the whole process stress free! Great experience with Nearway Driver training. My instructor Andy stated at the start of the day that C1 was his specialty. He wasn’t wrong. I felt relaxed and more confident as the day went on. For anyone needing C1 training I would fully recommend this company. 👍👍

Would definitely recommend NearWay. I originally passed my trailer test first with them many years ago and decided to return to complete my C1. I needed to complete this in a short amount of time and they did everything to accommodate this. I completed my reverse training with Michelle, she explained everything very clearly and was really great to work with. I then did my driving with Steve who made me feel at ease instantly. A really wonderful instructor who definitely helped towards my pass first time in such a short period of time. Thank you so much!

After having a really bad experience with another driving school where I have initially started my training I am so pleased I came across Nearway driving school! I’ve done most of my class C+E training with another school, but than I was left ganging and waiting for a date for a driving test, always being given excuses for the fact that they were still waiting for dates for the exam. I contacted Nearway on Tuesday the 28th of February via Facebook messenger. I was quickly greeted by Jessica which started sealing messages during the day at my convenience, which worked really well for me. On Wednesday the 1st of March, Jessica was able to provide me with a couple of options for a test date on the 8th of March, and we quickly came to an agreement on the cost and locked the date. I can’t thank Jessica enough Defoe being so polite and responsive. On the day of my test, I drove to the school where I was greeted by my instructor Michelle. Michelle did a fantastic job in preparing me for the test in just 4 hours, considering I hadn’t driven a truck for 4 weeks. Even though we had a problem with the truck I was being trained on breaking down, which made it impossible to attend my test as initially booked, the school has quickly arranged for another test for a couple of hours later and immediately sent another truck so I could still attend me test on the same day. Even thou I only had a few hours interaction with Nearway depriving school, I can’t thank them enough for them to have gone above and beyond to accommodate me and ensuring I successfully passed my test in the day. I’m really chuffed and will be using Nearway for any further training I require in the future m, and strongly recommend Nearway to anyone looking to take on any driving training.

I had a successful Re-test from HGV Class 1 a few days ago with John who was my instructor. He was really friendly and explained to me very well all of my questions so he's professionaI person!I would like to say that he is one of the best instructor I have had so far, so thank you very much again John and then just keep going well in your future. I give a five stars for NearWay because they helps me easily and find out my training before my Re-test. I highly Recommend this training school for everyone!
