COVID-19 Coronavirus Update
Updated 3rd April 2020
On 20th March 2020 the DVSA announced that they have cancelled all driving tests for 3 months and all theory tests up to and including 20th April due to Coronavirus.
On 23rd March 2020 the government instructed everyone to stay at home unless it is absolutely essential they go out.
Car driving lessons
We have suspended all driving lessons until further government advice is received. If the government considers you to be a critical worker you will still be able to get driving tests and we will continue to train critical workers only. Any prepaid lessons will be carried forward until we restart lessons.
HGV/LGV, C1 and car and trailer tests
Our car and trailer (B+E) and LGV (Category C1, C1+E and C) customers have been sent an email with more information over the coming days. Please check your email and junk folder for this email. If you have not received the email please contact us.
We will continue to provide email updates as the situation changes.
Emergency and Critical Workers
Special provisions have been made for theory and driving tests for critical workers. These include:
- health and social care
- education and childcare
- key public services
- local and national government
- food and other necessary goods
- public safety and national security
- utilities, communication and financial services

We will make sure there is a vehicle and instructor available for you to take your practical test in. For car tests we use the test centre at Banbury. For LGV/C1 and B+E Tests we use the test centres at Culham (near Oxford) and Weedon (near Northampton).
If you have symptoms
If you are self isolating, have a new continuous cough or high temperature please do not attend training. Contact us as soon as possible and your training will be rescheduled free of charge.
We thank you for your support during these difficult times. Stay safe.
