Emergency Driving Tests For Critical Staff
The DVSA have postponed all driving tests and theory tests due to Coronavirus.
BUT – we can still provide tests for critical workers for car driving lessons, B+E car and trailer, C1 / Ambulance and HGV Class 2 for critical workers ONLY.
This means that you can fast-track your driving course and test, pass quickly and provide your essential services much quicker than you would normally be able to, helping the country to deal with this emergency.
Critical workers include:
- health and social care
- education and childcare
- key public and emergency services
- local and national government
- food and other necessary goods
- public safety and national security
- utilities, communication and financial services
See the DVSA website for details of how to apply for an emergency driving or theory test. You will need your theory test pass certificate number where applicable and proof that you are a critical worker.
We can provide full theory test support and will ensure that we have a vehicle available for your driving lessons and test for the following categories:
Car driving tests for NHS staff, those working in childcare, education, utility companies, police and other essential staff.
Car and trailer (BE) tests for those working in essential sectors i.e. utility companies/Specialist NHS or police staff.
Emergency C1 tests for ambulance, police and other key industries.
Emergency HGV/LGV tests for those in essential industries, for example delivering food, utilities, fire service etc.
We can provide emergency training and tests for Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Buckinghamshire.
You can now qualify in a fraction of the time it would normally take so you can get on the road and help sooner.
Please note that key worker tests are provided at our discretion and you must be able to provide proof of a genuine emergency need.
